After trying it in a very fancy restaurant one day, we decided to recreate one of my favourite veggie dishes: crunchy & sweet grilled asparagus tips. They’re so easy to make, healthy and packed with flavour. Here’s what you need:
2 Tablespoons Honey
A few spoonfuls of sesame seeds.
Salt & Pepper
How to make them:
Take a pack of asparagus tips, put them on the grill – I use the Cuisinart Grill & Griddle, which means they get nicely grilled on both sides, so it’s a bit quicker. Drizzle soy and honey over them, make sure they’re covered all over and close the griddle. Leave for about 5-10 mins, depending on how crunchy you like them. Plate them up, and generously sprinkle sesame seeds for some added texture and flavour.
