Instagram #LandmarkRun Challenge!

Instagram #LandmarkRun Challenge!

Sharing is caring

Over the past couple of weeks, in the run up to my half marathon, I’ve been changing my routes up a little bit. I’ve left the park and have started using London as my playground. Along the way, I started collecting landmarks, snapping them as I went past. At first it was just for fun, but recently I noticed I always wanted to add more, changing my routes to go past different ones, to add more to my collection. The maximum I’ve done so far is 11 (although I suppose you could debate what counts as a Landmark…?)

I’ve been sharing them on the Fashercise Instagram account, which gave me an idea: I’m challenging you to start collecting landmarks too next time you go for a run. There’s no prizes, just a bit of running fun to stop you from getting bored as you run… (which is a prize in itself, methinks).

The rules:

1. The landmark must be reasonably close (spotting The Shard from Regent’s Park doesn’t count, mmmkay?)

2. Share your route/landmarks/pictures on Instagram with #LandmarkRun

3. A landmark is: “an object or feature of a landscape or town that is easily seen and recognized from a distance, especially one that enables someone to establish their location”

4. Tweet or Instagram @fashercise so we can check out your awesomeness.

5. Have fun

Here’s a couple of my #LandmarkRuns:

p.s. I use RunKeeper to track my runs and PicStitch to create my collages

Mike CJ / March 10, 2009Interesting Rich, and not something that had dawned on me until I read your post, but you’re absolutely right. I’m well north of 25 and like you, I just can’t be bothered with (and rarely check) the internal messaging systems in the many sites I’m part of. I would be happy to condense my whole web communication experience into either Email or Twitter. Even as a guy I can manage two things at once!Reply | 106 days ago

so here’s the real challenge – how do we get our stories across without bombarding people with literature or sounding like a broken record in your craft show booth? Blogs are a no-brainer for stories but I’m thinking more of the craft/wholesale show booth when you have about 10 seconds to grab someone’s attention … any great examples out there? | 176 days ago

Wow! This can be one particular of the most helpful blogs We’ve ever arrive across on this subject. Actually Excellent. I’m also an expert in this topic so I can understand your effort.
