To try out Nike’s new Dry-Fit Wool Hoodie, Fashercise was invited to a very special Nike Training Club session on the ice skating rink at the National History Museum. To us, the idea of working out on ice was definitely less ‘Dancing on Ice’ and more tumbling, falling and bruising. Thankfully the ice was covered and we were treated to a great workout in the hauntingly beautiful surroundings of the museum.
Nike Training Club is a free app for iPhone and Android featuring a variety of workouts, but you can also book real life classes, which are free and happen several times a week throughout the UK. We met some of the girls who attend them regularly and some loved NTC so much, they’ve decided to end their gym memberships. Nike definitely deserves kudos for organising these free classes for women – we’ve already signed up to another class in Clapham Common next week.
If you would like to book a class with the Nike Training Club check out their Facebook page here.
The weather last Monday was pretty cold, so we were a little bit concerned about working out outside on ice… luckily the Dry-Fit Wool Hoodie kept us very cosy and warm. The soft wool and sweat-wicking fabric helps you stay warm without compromising movement or stopping your skin to breathe. It really is the perfect addition to our winter workout gear as it is thin enough to allow easy layering – it comes in 5 different colours as well. It’s officially our new outdoor running staple.
