Nike x Liberty Summer 2014
By now, you have probably figured out how much we love a good collaboration here at Fashercise HQ, so whenever the latest Nike x Liberty collection drops, we’re basically beyond ourselves with giddy excitement. Well, the new Summer 2014 collection is about to land in store and we have a first look at what is by far one of our favourites collections in this long-running partnership!
The collection features 8 different pairs using 3 classic Liberty prints: Anoosha – a 1930’s print featuring blossom and bell flowers; Lora – a print based on a 1970s version of William Morris’ ‘Willow’ pattern; and Crown – a design based on various paisley block prints from Liberty’s Merton print.
The collection is divided into 2 parts – the first style uses the prints in a lighter version across the Air Max 1, Nike Roshe Run, Dunk Sky Hi and the Nike Internationalist models. The rough rope shoe laces make it truly special. The second part of the collection uses a slightly darker colour palette, as the Nike Roshe Run and Dunk Sky Hi are transformed with the Liberty Crown fabric, while the Nike Blazer in the Liberty Lora and the Dunk Sky Hi in the Anoosha print.
To complement the range, there’s also some great apparel to go along with the shoes; the Nike Tempo Short, Windrunner jacket and Vest each feature in the same floral print as the footwear collection, so you can wear print on print on print! We can’t wait for this to go in stores – those Roshe’s with the beige patchwork is our ultimate summer sneaker!
Nike x Liberty London SS14 lands exclusively at Liberty in store and online on April 7th (set your alarm clocks, these things sell out in no time!), followed by Nike stores around the world from May 1st.
