So when a copy of celebrity personal trainer Jon Denoris‘ new book The Pop Up Gym landed on our desk, we were all over it: simple exercises you can do anywhere and anytime, in the comfort of your home or the local park – even on holiday.
The book is packed full of easy-to-follow exercises for all abilities, a 6-week programme to get you fit and lean all by yourself, as well as a bunch of motivational, nutritional and fitness advice. We’ve been working the programme for 2 weeks now and it’s easy to do just about anywhere, using just your body and things you have lying around the house. No weights or kettle bells? How about a stuffed backpack or water bottles? It’s about incorporating what you have, whenever you want to. The workouts are around 20-25mins including warm up, perfect to do before or after work (or even during?).
Jon Denoris is a fitness expert who has trained everyone from Whitney Port to Jo Wood to Boris Johnson, he is a founder of Club 51, a bespoke private studio in Central London and now our personal kitchen-workout guru.
