Tested: Imbibery Juice Cleanse

A couple of weeks ago, after a heavy birthday weekend, I had the opportunity to try out Imbibery’s home delivered juice detox. After a couple of hectic weeks of work and going out, my body was definitely in need of a bit of a cleanse, so the timing couldn’t have been better.
Imbibery is the latest brand to join the fast growing cold pressed juice trend in London. The evening before my cleanse day, a driver dropped off a cooling bag with my 6 juices and 2 shots for the day, so I could start the day off whenever I wanted. I’ve done juice cleanses before (even a weeklong residential one), but I can tell you this was my favourite so far; the juices were delicious, varied and large, so I never felt bored or hungry. There were also 2 shots – one lemon shot, one ginger with cayenne pepper – as extra boosters. The day finished off with a large cashew milk which left me feeling full until the morning after.
I never felt hungry throughout the day and genuinely felt better and more energetic – even after just one day. I can definitely see the benefits of doing this once a week or month, just to give your body a bit of a break and a reboot once in a while.
The Imbibery London cleanse costs £85 per day with home delivery – you can also pick up one of the juices on its own at one of the stockists around London.
