There’s gyms, and then there’s Third Space Tower Bridge.
We’ve been inside most of London’s exclusive gyms, but Third Space has just raised the bar once again with their third club. Situated next to Tower Bridge and City Hall, the modest entrance reveals nothing about what awaits you when you get inside. Spread over a several floors, the club boasts an impressive pool, an indoor cycle studio, a hot yoga studio (opening soon), a huge weights section and gym floor, and much, much more.
Premium is the name of the game here, and boy have they taken that to the next level. From the cutting edge design to the stunning changing rooms (which are just *beyond*), from the stunning pool and thermal room to the members’ concierge (who can help with everything from workout recommendations to helping you find a good coffee place nearby), absolutely everything screams luxury.
It’s not just about appearances though – the club focuses highly on its members and their wellbeing. A membership gets you a LifeScore assessment every 8 weeks, during which you get a scientific analysis of body fat and mass, posture, gait, flexibility, diet, and hydration and a personalised workout plan to help you improve those areas.
We were also very impressed with their range of classes throughout the gym, some of which have been developed just for ThirdSpace. We sampled one of the spinning classes, which also incorporates weights for a full body workout, as well as the Bars & Bells class, which is a perfect introduction for people who might be intimidated by the freeweights floor. And if you’re craving a post-workout meal, snack or smoothie, Natural Fitness Food has got you covered with a daily changing menu of delicious, high protein food and drinks.
